OFFERED EVERY SUNDAY EVENING
==================================

"Ayahuasca" is the term generally used to describe a home-brewed tea made from 2 or more psychoactive plants that grow in the Amazon rain forest. Hawaii and the Southwest Pacific Rim, however, host a variety of their own indigenous entheogens (psychotropic plants that induce a spiritual experience aimed at, literally, "becoming one with God"), and these Master Plants (plants that teach) have been used for thousands of years in sacred rituals, healing practices, and spiritual ceremonies.

"I didn't feel that different from how I feel in the opening rounds with Ayahuasca. Colors became a little more saturated, and I began to feel less like an intruder, more at one and at peace with all of the nature around me. I felt like I was vibrating and somehow blending in with everything around me."
-- A regular ayahuasca participant

This is to invite you to visit us on Hawaii Island to enjoy and celebrate "Hawaaiaka," the native magical brew from plants that live here in the middle of the world's largest ocean, the ocean named after Peace. These psychoactive plant teachers have been growing in the surrounding Pacific jungles and have been breathing, propagating, rooting themselves and contributing to indigenous sacred rituals and ceremonies since ancient times. Furthermore, depending on where you are in the world, it is often more convenient -- and a heck of a lot more relaxing -- to come to Hawaii than it is to travel to South America.

Available every Sunday evening throughout the year, starting at roughly 6:00 PM and lasting for several hours, Muaisa Hale Pule ("As I Aum" Sanctuary) offers Master Plant circles in upcountry Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. These Hawaiaka ceremonies do not attempt to imitate or recreate Peru. Rather, they are a ceremonial opportunity, led by authentic, recognized shamans, who personally prepare these ancient, psychoactive brews for people to interact with the entheogenic plant teachers of Hawaii and the Southwest Pacific Rim -- on location, in the plants' native habitat.

"This brew took a very definite hold of me in a way I hadn't quite experienced before. It didn't have that heavy, physical, ayahuasca sensation; so it was clearer than ayahuasca. The jungle around me took on a beautiful, crisp glow. Things seemed to pulse and flow in a rhythm that I was part of. The insects and frogs chirping away seemed to speak a language that I could almost understand."
-- A seasoned teaching plant explorer

After all, one of the central themes of working with Master Plants is to experience yourself as being one with nature and as an integral part of the natural world. What better place to connect to All That IS and to experience a greater sense of "being" and contentment than Hawaii?

Muaisa Hale Pule is an official Chapter of the New Haven Native American Church (NHNAC), which is in direct lineage to The Rosebud Native American Church, whose authority was legally established with the United States government in 1924. We are duly recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS and are authorized to conduct our affairs in the state of Hawaii. Feel free to get in touch via the "Ask host a question" link above; so that we may share our phone number and website info with you and send along FAQ and Ceremony Guidelines with the required Application form and Consent/waiver for the ceremonies. Till then becomes now. . . Great Spirit blessings!

Schedule

The ceremony schedule will look something like that below. (Times may vary as much as 30 minutes in either direction depending upon time of sunset.)

• 6:00 PM : Arrive on property Sunday evening
• 6:15 - 6:45 PM : Labyrinth Walk (weather permitting)
• 6:30 - 7:00 PM : Ceremony opens with group share and consecration of space
• 7:00 - 8:30 PM : Sacred Plant brew is poured (approx 4 rounds of 2 ounces each)
• 8:30 - 10:00 PM : Everyone relaxes, lays out and "soaks" in their own inner realm
• 10:30 PM : Ceremony closes, and all-organic, soup, congee or GF porridge is served
• 10:30 - 11:30 PM : "Talk Story" (Processing & Integration) in the "twilight" of the brew
• 11:30 PM - 12:00 AM : Drivers walk a straight line, and everyone is generally free to leave

For an additional "Family & Friends" charitable contribution of $375 US, choose to integrate ceremony on any weekday (Mon through Thurs) either before or afterwards with a 2.5 HR PRIVATE, ONE-ON-ONE, INDIVIDUALLY-DELIVERED, SHAMANIC "DEEP DIVE" WITH CHIEF 'GOLDEN FEATHER.' This substance-free session is designed, not as a "one-size-fits-all" event, but as an experience to assist you in personally assimilating the work you do in ceremony by diving more purposefully into your own inner ecology and unique imagery; so that you may discover and better come to terms with that which is hidden below the surface in your personal unconscious.

Sacred Plants aren’t a quick fix or a magical cure and won't, in and of themselves, solve your problems or transform your life. Rather, they open the opportunity for you to experience an altered state of consciousness in which you may perceive and can address your issues from a different perspective. Instead of having the same, repetitive thought loops, new possibilities become available. Shaman works with you from this point forward; so that you can more realistically recognize and free yourself from your own self-defeating symbolism and blind spots.

• 1:00 - 3:30 or 4:00 - 6:30 PM (Do not eat for 2 hours beforehand, and bring along a fully-charged iPhone or other recording device to record the entire session.)

We also offer a 90-minute, private (Mon through Thurs) HANDS-ON-ENERGY HEALING SESSION with Shaman to assist in helping you move and recharge your energy surrounding any physical symptoms or complaints you may have. ("Family & Friends" Charitable Contribution Threshold = $225)

An optional all-day Mystic Tour eco-adventure may also be arranged any Tuesday - Thursday, starting at 8:00 AM. (Come prepared with sturdy walking shoes/hiking boots, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, shorts, long- or short-sleeved shirt, a towel and a protein snack.) The day begins with breakfast and a world-class view.
Note: Schedule is approximate and may change

Getting Here

Location icon Muaisa Hale Pule, Hawaii, USA

Directions

Muaisa Hale Pule ("As I Aum" Sanctuary) is located on the healing Kona Coast of the island of Hawaii. This is the Big Island, the "real Hawaii" with a population of only 45 people per square mile; it is not to be confused with Honolulu on the island of Oahu where the population is over a million. Rather, our serene location is at approximately 1600 ft elevation, only 3 miles above the shoreline.

The bay below us, "The Pathway to the Gods," is the #1 marine life preserve in the State of Hawaii. It is where Captain James Cook first discovered the island in 1778 and where dolphins continue to come almost daily to feed, play, rest and nurture their young. You will want to be sure you are flying into Kona International Airport (KOA), which is about 19 miles (30.5 km) north of our locale.

=========================
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
=========================
Along with your program booking details, we will also send you ground transportation guidelines to our locale from KOA. The best means of getting to us from there is to arrange for Uber, a rental car, a taxi or a shuttle in advance of your arrival. Taxis charge about $65 O/W; shuttles are closer to $46 - 51 O/W, and Uber drivers generally negotiate their own fares.

On Mon - Sat, the “Hele-on Bus” operates a regular schedule of free intra-Kona/cross-island bus routes from where we are located. The bus, however, does not go to many of the scenic hotspots, nor does it service this area from either of the 2 island airports at a time which is conducive to most people’s itineraries.

You'll be able to get by easily enough on foot and via bus as long as you're comfortable staying fairly local and walking .8 to 2.4 km (.5 - 1.5 miles) to shopping and environs. A rental car or scooter is advisable, however, for seeing more of the island and for ease in getting around.

Accommodation

Upon receipt of your completed application form, signed waiver, color head shot, copy of photo ID and suggested donation* submission, we will email you a list of nearby lodging options. (Guidelines, applications and waivers will be made available once you reach out to us via the "Contact" button below.) There is no camping or lodging on the shamanic grounds though, depending on the season, an abundance of free fresh fruit is often available in the environs for picking.

Nearby rooms (.8 to 2.4 km / .5- to 1.5-miles from us) generally have kitchenettes and/or access to restaurants, grocery stores and a well-equipped shared kitchen for preparing meals and snacks. If possible, participants should book their accommodations to arrive in Kona at least one day before their first ceremony to allow time for settling in and getting familiar with the surroundings. You are also free to find your own lodging independently, if you prefer, and to commute back and forth to our area.

A few of the generally available, starting nearby room rates that we suggest are listed as follows:

• SINGLE BUNK ACCOMMODATIONS IN FEMALE OR MIXED DORM
$55 - 60 US per night with access to group kitchen
• SINGLE PRIVATE GUESTHOUSE ROOM / SHARED BATH
$90 - 140 US per night with access to group kitchen
• SINGLE PRIVATE GUESTHOUSE ROOM / PRIVATE EN SUITE BATH
$150 - 170 US per night with access to group kirchen
• SINGLE/DOUBLE PRIVATE ROOM w/SUNSET OCEAN VIEW / PRIVATE BATH
$135 US per night
• SINGLE PRIVATE B&B ROOM w/BREAKFAST / SHARED BATH
$139 US per night (includes fresh, healthful, home-made breakfast)
+ $25 Cleaning fee / + $95 Booking fee
• PRIVATE COZY COTTAGE ON COFFEE FARMS W/OCEAN-SUNSET VIEW
$145 US+ per night, 1 bed/sleeps 2, kitchen and private bath

Accommodation
"Hawaiaka" Sacred Plant Ceremonies take place every Sunday evening throughout the year. Like all our shamanic programs, none are sold in commercial transactions outside the donative context. You may combine Ceremony with individually-delivered, private shamanic sessions and/or Art Awakenings and Mystic Tours for retreats of 2, 3 or more days. To be granted participation, donors must first meet a non-refundable Charitable Contribution of $375. From this, Retreat.Guru will take an upfront 14% "deposit fee", which you can choose to cover separately on the donative end or not. A completed application form, a signed waiver, an "in the moment" selfie + a scan of a photo ID are all required in advance of participation with at least 1 -2 weeks advanced dietary preparations recommended.

Spiritual Lessions for Life
What I experienced during my time with Jack and ZZ was an awakening of parts of my spirit that were not being incorporated into my life. I am now using my complete spirit. I was living in a world lit by a 20 watt bulb and now my light bulb is 1000 watts. I am grateful to Jack and ZZ for sharing their wisdom and love. My life is blessed by my time with them.

10-day Shamanic Rebirth Program
This program was one of the best things that ever happened to me. The hosts (Dr. ZZ and Jack) were cordial, caring, understanding and knowledgeable. The program itself was blissful, transformative and empowering. I found myself! I learned how to be my authentic self and let go of what no longer serves me. In addition to the activities on site, I was provided some tools to assist me in my journey providing that I use them consistently. This program is one in a million and I am so grateful I got to experience it. Hope more people can benefit from it!

My heart is full of gratitude for Muaisa Hale Pule.
I do not even know where to begin! My heart is full of gratitude for Muaisa Hale Pule. From the start-up, Dr. ZZ has been wonderful and very helpful every step of the way! The Plant Medicine ceremony was profound; the brew showed me exactly what I needed to work on, even though I didn't realize it at first. However, after my private session with the shaman (which was supposed to be 2 hrs only, actually lasted over 3 hours), everything was clear. Jack was kind and knowledgeable, he definitely saw right through me and helped me see the REAL situations/problems I was dealing with and a possible solution for them.
Again BIG thank you to Dr. ZZ and Jack for your work and your beautiful souls! It was a true pleasure to just be in the same room as you. I would definitely recommend Muaisa Hale Pule to anyone! I will definitely be back!
ALOHA!
