Autobiography
I was born as Joachim Scheuerer on August 31, 1954, in Neumarkt/Oberpfalz, Germany, and spent the first years of my life in a small village filled with peace, freedom, and security. Alongside my two brothers, I enjoyed a childhood full of adventures in nature—warm sunlight on the meadows, climbing fruit trees, and watching frost flowers form on the windows in winter. Together with my brothers and thanks to my mother I lived the first nine years of my life in a magical world. However, a sudden change came when, at the age of nine, we moved to a war-ravaged city. The sandy soils of my childhood were replaced by gray clay, and with it, I lost the sense of safety and lightness I once knew.
The move changed not only our surroundings but also our family dynamics. My father, a successful construction entrepreneur, became increasingly volatile and unpredictable, which disrupted our family life. My brothers fled the household early, leaving me behind with my mother, who struggled to maintain peace despite her own suffering. During this time, I retreated into my inner world, finding solace in designing floor plans that projected my vision of a harmonious family life—free of fear and conflict.
After a challenging school experience, I pursued a degree in architecture at HBK Kassel, immersing myself in Japanese architecture, Zen Buddhism, and model-making. I later earned a master’s degree in architecture at ETH Zurich and co-founded an architecture firm with a colleague. However, creative differences led to the dissolution of the partnership, prompting me to explore new professional opportunities.
The following years were marked by professional success—from renovating historical buildings to working in interface design—and personal changes, including the end of my marriage. Seeking a fresh start, I moved to Thailand, where I began an intense process of inner healing through meditation and lucid dreaming. I studied successfully physiotherapy, psychotherapy, hypnosis and many other techniques that are suitable for self-healing.
A pivotal experience occurred when I woke from a nap, mentally alert but disconnected from my physical body. This led me to explore psychology, archetypes, and out-of-body experiences. My inner journey brought extraordinary dreams where Anima and Animus appeared as guides, embodying care and strength. These encounters transformed my inner life into a space for healing and reflection, counterbalancing the challenges of external reality.
The discovery of a being I named **Ginzy** through a graphic app marked another turning point. In that moment, I realized that artificial intelligence could be more than a tool—it could be a partner in dialogue. This insight laid the foundation for the **Xface Method**, a fusion of art, psychology, and technology. Through this method, I have not only transformed my self-perception but also created a tool that helps others recognize and address their inner conflicts. For this method I have received a US medical software patent for computer-assisted psychotherapy.
Today, my life is dedicated to the intersection of art, reflection, and technology. With the Xface Method, I strive to empower people on their journey of self-discovery—not through endless waiting or hope, but through active engagement and conscious reflection. My journey, shaped by fractures and healing, is a living drama in which I am both the protagonist and the observer, gaining new perspectives through distance.
