The mission of Maravilha is to provide a sanctuary where guests will feel loved from the moment they commit to coming here until well after. Our Curandeiros and Shamans have done hundreds if not thousands of ceremonies. it's not just about the medicine, we are determined to create a energetic space with music, Icaro, Happe, and other mystical ways that is safe and full of Love.

Maravilha retreat sits on an acre of beautiful landscaped property high on a hill with 180 degree ocean and island views. The property is a simple 10 minute walk to three beaches (Geriba, Ferradurinha and Amores) that have sand surf breaks as well as a rocky bay that offers wonderful snorkeling where you can observe tropical fish and sea turtles year-round.

Directions
Buzios is 170 km (100 miles) from Rio De Janeiro International Airport (GIG). Uber is the best mode of transportation to Maravilha Retreat. The app works very well from the Airport and the ride will take approximately two hours and you can expect to pay approximately $100 USD ($500R).
We are happy to arrange for a private driver but it will be more expensive ($200-$250 USD), please contact us at least a week before arrival if you are interested in a private driver.
