Our retreats are intentionally small, max of 5 persons, to allow for deep, personalized healing.

We are a family bridging ancestral medicine and modern integration practices, holding a safe and personal space for deep reconciliation — with oneself, the inner child, mind and heart, in connection with each other and Pachamama.

On days of rest you will have 3 meals, ceremony day only breakfast. Healthy and nurturing meals. All meals will be vegetarian or vegan, according your needs. We take care of allergies if needed.

Directions

Cusco airport is the closest airport. Pick up from your hotel in Urubamba or the busterminal of Urubamba. Taxi can be arranged for an additional fee from Cusco or Sacred Valley.

Intimacy allows for connection

I had the most incredible experience at Willkamayu Spirit.

I attended a 5 day retreat which included two Ayahuasca ceremonies and one San Pedro. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel very at home and secure. The group was purposefully kept small, which allowed for a very intimate experience with my fellow retreat participants.

You can tell this hasn't been just thrown together, it's taken years of craft and tinkering, so many small details to allow for such a great connection.

Life Changing Experience in a Safe and Supportive Environment

My 7 day retreat at Willkamayu Spirit was everything I needed and more. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, supported, and cared for throughout the entire experience.

Jhon, Janneke, and Maestro Inonbari were incredibly kind, approachable, and attentive to everyone’s individual needs. Their experience and calm presence created a safe environment that allowed me to fully trust the process and focus on my healing and personal growth.

The retreat exceeded all of my expectations. The ceremonies, integration support, accommodations, and overall atmosphere were all handled with so much care and professionalism. I left feeling like a new man... clearer, lighter, and deeply grateful for the experience.

Really special experience

I have done many retreats, processes, and healing modalities, and I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful my time with Janneke and Jhon was. I did a three-day Inner Child and Huachuma retreat, and the amount of care and attention I received from these beautiful people — and the beautiful cactus — was truly above and beyond. (And not to forget Jakeline, who fed me so wonderfully.)

The Inner Child work with Janneke already touched somewhere I had only hoped Huachuma might, even though I have done a fair amount of this kind of work. Then the one-on-one ceremony with Jhon, followed by a walk up into the jagged mountains above Urubamba, brought deep healing, teachings, and understanding. Huachuma is a slow, gentle but very powerful teacher — as is Jhon.

I am deeply grateful to whatever finger of fate pointed me to the Willkamayu Spirit website. If you are reading this, perhaps that same finger is looking out for you. Don’t ignore it. Beautiful, loving, personal, genuine healing awaits.

Ayahuasca Retreat Review

What an amazing experience! Dear wonderful team at Willkamayu retreat, thank you for a truly authentic encounter. I’ve been on a couple of different journey evenings now and nothing comes close to what I experienced here! I was blown away, as the vine moved through every corner of my body (like a serpent!) each vein, cell and limb was activated… Mother Ayahuasca searches for the depths of the darkness we store in our bodies. Unbelievable. I came to heal some wounds, to feel/become more aligned and to be more clear as I could feel some things were holding me back. I followed my heart (eventually) and simply let go… that was when mother ayahuasca took over and cleansed every inch, in truly spectacular fashion, she will leave nothing behind if you let her in..!! Wow, huge thanks team ❤️

Wachuma Ceremony and Integration

Jhon prepared the Wachuma medicine with a lot of love and dedication. The medicine came into my being beautifully and gently, at the same time making itself very present and helping me to break patterns.
There was space and time to share about the journey afterwards and receive support in (re)collecting all my parts and anchoring down what I had experienced and shifted within myself.
I participated in the Inner Child workshop and the Womb ritual, both guided by Janneke. I was so happy to receive both. They weave in beautifully with plant medicine and really support the integration process.
Jhon and Janneke felt warm to me. Having had several plant medicine experiences in different contexts and places, I can sense and confidently say that they bring their offerings from a place of integrity, authenticity and groundedness.
