About this Retreat

For over two decades, Dr. Michael R. Smith has helped millions of people worldwide to connect to their inherent Divinity and intuition.
Michael is a shamanic healing practitioner, professional medium, author of two books, and channel for Source energy.
As a doctoral-trained counselor and practitioner of indigenous healing ceremonies, he has been featured in documentary films, prominent podcasts, retreats, spiritual cruises, and shared the stage with luminaries like Sonia Choquette and Judith Orloff at esteemed forums like The Omega Institute and The Shift Network.
Prior to working exclusively with empaths and sensitive people, Dr. Smith was an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Wyoming.
He is the author of 8 research publications appearing in various scientific journals, and his doctoral dissertation was groundbreaking for being among the first to research the effect of counselor spirituality on effectiveness in therapy sessions.
In addition to being a member of the Oakland Gay Men's Chorus, he is passionate about creating music, daily hot yoga, and talking to trees.

Directions
Experience the serene elevation of Spirit House, our premier all-inclusive retreat destination in Northern California. Situated just one hour from San Francisco or Oakland, getting to Spirit House involves taking an Uber or the Marin Airporter Shuttle to San Rafael (30 mins away) from where you can arrange an Uber. Several past participants have rented cars. Detailed instructions will be provided, and Michael, the facilitator, will help you plan your arrival and offer suggestions and details.
Accommodation
Each room is beautifully appointed with twin beds, comfortable linens, blankets. Some rooms have terraces and access to the outdoors. Because the temperature rarely gets above 75 degrees, there is no need for air conditioning, and stays comfortable no matter the time of day.
