About this Retreat
Meet Jeanie Baker, a guide, healer, and intuitive mentor who embodies resilience, self-discovery, and soulful living. With over 19 years of Reiki practice (13 as a Reiki Master), and certifications in yoga, craniosacral therapy, Thai massage, reflexology, and holistic coaching, Jeanie brings a wealth of experience and intuitive wisdom to every retreat she leads and everything she does. It is a lifestyle of embodiment for her.
Jeanie’s deepest guidance comes from her connection to spirit and the intuitive messages she receives daily, supported by decades of hands-on practice helping women reconnect to their bodies, emotions, and inner guidance. Her approach is rooted in emotional safety, embodiment, and practical tools for transformation, allowing participants to release old patterns and step fully into their authentic selves.
Her own journey of healing and self-discovery is at the heart of her work. After overcoming profound personal challenges, including grief, trauma, sexual abuse, deep abandonment imprints, and misalignment in her early career and relationships, Jeanie devoted herself to living intentionally, following her passions, and embracing the wisdom of her own inner guidance. Her path has taken her around the world… living in Costa Rica for 7 years attending her first retreat there in 2012, to gain her dual citizenship in Italy, and continuing to trust the intuitive guidance she receives. This allows her to witness the power of nature, ancestral connection, and self-inquiry in supporting profound transformation.
Today, Jeanie guides women through immersive global retreats and intuitive embodiment coaching, creating spaces where they feel safe, nurtured, and inspired to trust their intuition, reconnect with their bodies, and embrace their full potential. One of her guiding mantras is: “Live life by experiences.”
Julie Hickey is an intuitive healer, yoga teacher, Reiki Master, bodyworker, and aquatic therapist. She is a Watsu practitioner, avid surfer, and ocean woman… often described as a true mermaid at heart.
Originally from Michigan, Julie grew up swimming and feeling a deep connection to water. She later moved to California to be closer to the ocean, where she began surfing and deepening her relationship with the sea.
Over 26 years ago, she followed that calling to Costa Rica, where she found home in nature, the ocean, and a slower, more connected way of living. There, she built a surf school, raised her children in the water, and founded One Love Wellness, a space devoted to healing, presence, and connection.
Water has been the thread through every part of Julie’s life.
Through surfing, aquatic therapy, and her work as a Watsu practitioner, she creates spaces where the body can soften, the nervous system can regulate, and deep healing can unfold naturally. Clients often share that they feel lighter, more connected, and even “reborn” after sessions.
Julie met Jeanie in Costa Rica in 2011, where they felt an immediate soul connection. Their work naturally complements one another, and when invited to co-facilitate this retreat, Julie felt a full-body yes… knowing how powerful this work can be to share.
With strong earth and water elements in her astrology, Julie brings a grounded, nurturing presence, creating a space where women feel safe to release, reconnect, and return to themselves.
Her intention for this retreat is to guide you back to your true essence, to reconnect with the divine within, trust your intuition, and allow water to be a teacher and a conduit for healing and rebirth.
I’m Linda Kubota Byrd and have been on a personal growth journey for what seems like my entire life. I was “normal” until about 25 years ago when I left the corporate world to strike out on my own as an astrologer and certified dream coach. Since then I have incorporated many other healing modalities including NLP, Energy Psychology, Stargate, and much more.
I’m now devoting my life to helping others awaken to the magnificence of who they truly are, to remember that they are not what they were taught to believe.
