Often, we feel there is too much going on in our lives and it's not possible for our minds to slow down. Truthfully, anyone can meditate. All we need is the right technique and the right guidance to kick start our practice. The busier our minds are, the more important it is for us to meditate. Just like our bodies need rest after a full work day; our minds experience the same fatigue, making it important to stop and re-energize our minds.

Art of Meditation offers a personalized practice taught by experienced meditation teachers. Receive one-on-one guidance to allow you to meditate effortlessly anytime and anywhere. You will receive the training you need to launch yourself confidently into a personal practice for life.

Souvent, nous trouvons qu'il se passe trop de choses dans notre vie et qu'il n'est pas possible de ralentir notre mental. En réalité, tout le monde peut méditer. Tout ce dont nous avons besoin, c'est de la bonne technique et de la bonne guidance pour démarrer notre pratique. Plus notre mental est agité, plus il est important de méditer. De la même façon que notre corps a besoin de repos après une grosse journée de travail, notre mental ressent la même fatigue et c'est pourquoi il est important de l'arrêter et de le ré-énergiser.

Directions

Where are we located

The Centre is situated 2-2.5 hours (150 km/93 miles) East of Montreal, near the village of Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, in the pristine Quebec countryside. Plan your trip to ensure that your transportation to and from the Centre is as smooth as possible.

Type the following address for GPS: 13 Chemin de L’Infinite, St-Mathieu-du-Parc, QC G0X 1N0

PLEASE NOTE: From Rte 351, DO NOT turn into Chemin du Lac Gareau. Instead drive to the Yellow Sign (see picture) at the entrance of the Centre and turn in. This is Chemin de L’Harmonie. Drive for about 1 Km to the Reception on the left.

The data signal as you approach the centre is spotty, therefore, we recommend that you save a screenshot of your direction, save offline maps, or carry a printout.

Accommodation

Retreat Room - Bodhisattva Cozy rooms with a view of the lake/forest. Each room contains a private bathroom and three single beds with plenty of room for personal belongings. Bodhisattva is just minutes from the big meditation hall and the main building. Single beds Private bathroom Free Wi-Fi Dormitory Room - Hermitage "Hermitage" is located amidst of forest. Enjoy a rustic yet enjoyable stay in a dormitory-style room that has two bunk beds, some storage, and lots of light and fresh air. The rooms on each floor have a common balcony and a large shared bathroom.

Onsite Camping

This option is for the adventurous. Bathrooms are shared and outside in a separate building. Please bring your own tent and bedding. The Centre will not provide any camping equipment.
