**Dan Plant: From the RAF to Spiritual Awakening**
My name is Dan Plant, and my journey through life has been nothing short of transformative, shaped by experiences that have taken me from the military to the world of business, and ultimately, to a profound spiritual awakening.
I began my journey by serving in the RAF from a young age, an experience that exposed me to the rigors and challenges of military life. My service took me to places like Iraq and Afghanistan, where I encountered the harsh realities of conflict. These experiences left an indelible mark on me, shaping the person I would become.
After leaving the military, I transitioned into the world of entrepreneurship. Fueled by ego, I became a self-motivated and determined entrepreneur. My driving force was the relentless pursuit of success, and I was passionate about growing multiple businesses. The concept of work-life balance was foreign to me as I chased material trappings – flashy cars, a grand house, and expensive watches. I embodied a persona far removed from my true self. I was seen as a manly man, unexpressive and emotionally distant, my true emotions hidden from the outside world.
Money and the allure of the concrete jungle were my primary focus, and I aspired to become a multi-millionaire entrepreneur. I had the drive to achieve it, but as I reflect now, I realize that the pursuit of wealth was not synonymous with happiness.
This version of myself was not authentic. A spiritual awakening began to stir within me about two years ago. I decided to step away from several of the businesses I had tirelessly built to embrace my true divine calling – helping others, both men and women, embark on their spiritual journeys.
Life threw us into a whirlwind of challenges. My wife, Emma, fell seriously ill with Lyme disease, and we were faced with the immense task of raising four children while simultaneously managing four businesses. It was a time of profound hardship and deep unhappiness. The universe seemed to be sending us a message, guiding us towards a path of self-discovery.
I am immensely proud to have awakened from my former self and embraced a newfound humility. I have become present within myself, savoring the simpler joys of life such as spending quality time with family, connecting with nature, and fulfilling my calling of helping both men and women awaken to their true selves.
My journey has been a winding one, filled with challenges and transformations. Today, I stand as a testament to the power of spiritual awakening and the profound change it can bring to one's life. My mission is clear: to help others embark on their own journeys of self-discovery, guiding them towards their true selves and a life filled with authenticity and purpose.

**The Birth of My Passion:**
My love affair with pregnancy and birth began nearly two decades ago when I decided to pursue a career as a Midwife. It was during this transformative period that I had the privilege of assisting in the delivery of around 40 babies. Little did I know that this incredible experience would soon be mirrored in my own life as I welcomed my first child into the world. My own home birth became a defining moment, an awe-inspiring experience that fuelled my desire to empower other women on their own childbirth journeys.
Driven by this newfound purpose, I embarked on a journey to become a Natal Hypnotherapy Practitioner. My aim was simple yet profound: to help women feel more confident, excited, and empowered as they approached the sacred moment of childbirth. Over the years, my own family grew, and I welcomed three more children into my life. This journey of motherhood further enriched my understanding of the intricate connection between physical and mental well-being.
**Nurturing Mental Well-being:**
Drawing from my background in mental health, I developed an unwavering passion for psychological well-being. I came to realise that nurturing one's mental health is a cornerstone of a fulfilling life, often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of modern existence. It became my mission to create a haven, a sanctuary where individuals could rediscover themselves and rekindle their inner peace.
This mission gave birth to "Tranquil Waters," a sanctuary dedicated to fostering physical and mental well-being. I firmly believe that the mind and body are intrinsically linked, and it is our duty to care for both to achieve the healthiest, happiest version of ourselves. With my four children as my constant source of inspiration, I couldn't be more enthusiastic about sharing my expertise with others through our pregnancy retreat.

My life took an unexpected turn when I found myself grappling with Lyme disease, business challenges, and a growing sense of disconnect from my true self. The pursuit of multiple businesses had led me down a path driven by ego, the relentless pursuit of success, and the societal pressure to appear successful. Yet, beneath the veneer of success, I was unhappy, and my inner turmoil was impossible to ignore.
Through these trials, I embarked on a profound spiritual awakening. I began to shed the layers of ego, learning to embrace authenticity and vulnerability. It was during these challenging times that I rediscovered my true purpose—to guide and support others on their own spiritual journeys. Today, I am walking a new path, one that aligns with my deepest values and aspirations, as I strive to help women and men alike find their own spiritual awakening.

Life is a tapestry of experiences, and it is in our trials and tribulations that we often find our greatest strengths. We once thrived as owners of four businesses, including a successful gym well-known in our community. However, success didn't equate to fulfilment. Our hearts called us elsewhere & we felt stuck. Everything happened at the right time and the Universe was guiding us towards our true calling.
In a courageous move, we chose to step away from the business world. This decision puzzled some, but we were resolute. Our new path focused on guiding and supporting others on journeys of self-discovery, well-being, and spiritual awakening.

Accommodation
Our relaxing suites will encourage you to switch off and escape. Bask in peaceful, natural surroundings and end your stay with a sense of calm and refreshed recovery. Each of our four suites has been designed to instill a feeling of calm with comfortable beds, sumptuous linen, aromatherapy and lounging space.
Aqua Suite - Double Twin Ensuite With Walk In Wardrobe
Aqua is a delightful suite overlooking our garden. Two twin size beds with luxurious bamboo memory foam mattresses will ensure you have a restful sleep. This room will be shared with one other person of the same gender.
A gorgeous wingback velvet lounge chair with footstool is a little treat in this room. High ceilings and beams make this room a pleasure to sleep in.
You have a large walk-in wardrobe and dressing area, along with a chest of drawers so you can properly unpack and really feel at home.

If you would like to attend our retreat but you don't need overnight accomodation you can attend as a day guest, still enjoying all access to our facilities. You can also park your campervan outside!

Blossom is a delightful suite overlooking our garden. A solid oak king size sleigh bed with a luxurious bamboo memory foam mattress will ensure you have a restful sleep.
A gorgeous wingback velvet lounge chair with footstool is a little treat in this room. High ceilings and beams make this room a pleasure to sleep in.

Woodland has our favourite chaise lounge chair – quite possibly the most comfortable seat you’ve ever lounged on! With high ceilings, beams and dual aspect windows, this suite feels light and airy.
A single bed is optional so that twin occupancy can sleep in separate beds or to allow for triple occupancy.
