- Experience a romantic long weekend with your loved one (or two friends can stay in separate rooms or a twin room if preferred), explore your boundaries together. This romantic getaway includes 2 psilocybin experiences, one on the day of your arrival, then a couple's massage plus time to relax and unwind together in the tranquil setting of A New Day Retreats on day 2 and the second psilocybin experience on day 3. On day 4 you leave (unless you book extra nights to enjoy a hike the beautiful mountains or relax by the pool (in season) - or both! This is an opportunity for you to spend some quality time together while exploring new territories.
- You are free to use A New Day Retreats' premises at all times, as you will have the whole house, pool and garden to yourselves like an AirBnb.

- An experienced guide will be with you at all times during your psilocybin session.
- Included in a 3 night, 2 psilocybin experiences and massage for 2 people:
- Pre-session introduction video call
- Pickup and drop off in Altea/Benidorm
- Beautiful rural location with a pool (in season) and lovely garden and outdoor space for you to enjoy, outdoor barbeque, outdoor fireplace
- 2 mushroom experiences with guided support throughout the experience. We suggest you do the first experience apart, as that can be very healing on individual levels, and then you canenjoy the second experience together (the secon experience can be done outside in the beatutiful mountains). There will be a guide with you both at all times (your facilitator has been part of more than 100 journeys in the last year).
- Cordless headphones with a curated playlist and eyeshades that you can take off if you feel like it
- Vegetarian/vegan meal, seasonal, wholesome, homegrown/local Spanish vegetables and fruit when possible on the day of your arrival is included, the following days are self-catering
- A massage at the premises with two massage therapists (myself and another local massage therapist)
- Post-session integration video call to make sure you are integrating the experience well
- Optional therapists on the team can help you guide you onwards in the weeks or months after your session (at their regular rates)

About this Retreat
Your Guides
Founder of A New Day Retreats.
After experiencing the deep transformation from my first psilocybin journey in a therapeutic setting, I have made it my goal to create A New Day Retreats. This has meant continuing my own personal journey with psychoactive plants, both on retreats and personally. I have also completed several courses with different providers on the safe use of plant medicines (see below for details). I have been working with a local retreat centre helping to guide retreats and one day group sessions for even more hands on experience so I can provide a safe space for healing and growth.
I hold a Masters of Arts in Anthropology and a Diploma in Counselling. I am a trained massage therapist.
I hold the following certificates: "Understanding Psilocybin Effects Neurobiology and Therapeutic Approaches", "Psychedelic Counseling - The Foundations of Trip Sitting", "Internal Family Systems and Psychedelic Therapy" , and I am working towards a certificate in "Healing Trauma" by Peter A. Levine, PhD, as well as "The Transpersonal and Psychedelic Practitioner Certification" which includes 3 in-person facilitator's training sessions in the Netherlands, to be completed early 2024.
I was born and grew up in Denmark and I have been fortunate to have lived in many countries throughout my adult life, and now I call Spain my home. I speak English, Danish, French and Spanish.
A personal aim for me is to master the combination of being both soft and strong, qualities I believe are important to lead a meaningful and impactful life. I yearn for a shift in our communities and societies that will curb our current epidemic of depression, anxiety and other mental disorders, and with A New Day Retreats I hope to make a small difference to individual lives, so that people can commence and continue their own healing and growing and go back to their families and communities and make a difference in their individual ways. Systemic change begins with individuals, and to me it seems pretty obvious that we need a change of direction. And I believe deeply that plant medicine can help guide us all.

Schedule
A 3 nights, 2 psilocybin experiences and massage for couples/two people looks like this:
Arrival on day 1:
Pickup in Altea/Benidorm
Getting familiar with the premises and one another.
Psilocybin session: you will be in individual rooms going through your own journeys and you will both have an experienced guide by your side at all times.
After the session you will be served a delicous meal. (Basic breakfast is included (cereals, bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee), all other meals are self-catering).
Day 2:
You will receive a 1 hour massage where the two of you each have a massage therapist and you can enjoy a nice, relaxing massage together. Then take time out of your busy schedule to enjoy the beautiful area and amazing climate (Alicante has 320 sunny days per year!). Enjoy the pool, the outdoor area, the mountains. We can provide you with directions for amazing hikes in the area that you can do straight from A New Day Retreats, or if you come by car, directions to the best beaches about 10 km from the retreat centre.
Day 3:
You will have your second psilocybin experience. This one you can do together, we can even go outside in the mountains if you wish to do it outside and the weather is for it.
Day 4:
Checkout (more days can be booked at the rate of 70 euros per night before/after if you would like an even longer stay).

Directions
You will be picked up and dropped back off in Altea/benidorm, both of which are easy to get to with public transportation.
Accommodation
The retreat is an charming Spanish finca that has been recently fully renovated. There is 1 double, en-suite bedroom and 2 shared twin rooms. The retreat centre has a total of 3 bathrooms and an outdoor shower. You have the whole house, garden and pool to yourselves to enjoy the Spanish weather. The living room and kitchen is comfortable and you are free to use the space as you wish while at the retreat. In winter you are free to use the fireplace in the common area for some extra cosiness.

- 2 psilocyin experiences (day 1 and day 3) for 2 people, a massage for 2 people (day 2), transportation from/to Altea/Benidorm. 3 nights' accommodation and full use of the house, pool and garden all to yourselves. A video call before the session to set intentions, teacher plants, food on the day of arrival are all included. A video call a few days after to check how you are integrating.
What's Not Included
- Flights etc. not included. Extra nights can be booked at 70 euros per night.
- Ongoing therapy sessions with the psychotherapists who are working with A New Day Retreats.
