About this Retreat
TK Paauwe-Roberts discovered her passion for all things fitness related through her extensive background in high-level gymnastics. Her unique teaching style emphasizes building a deeper understanding of the body and developing skills with confidence. TK's programs combine Pilates-inspired movements, aerial silks practices, calisthenics, and weightlifting to help clients of all levels achieve their goals while focusing on injury prevention and mobility.
TK currently teaches private lessons and group classes throughout the year at Oasi Sorgente in Italy.
Kristen, the visionary behind SoCo Aerial Collective in Sonoma County, CA, has been passionately studying aerial arts for more than a decade and embraces every chance to expand her knowledge. In 2017, she founded SoCo Aerial Collective to share her love for aerials with her students and visiting instructors, while fostering a safe and encouraging environment.
With a background in microbiology, she applies her expertise to explore innovative and distinctive approaches in the aerial realm, while also valuing the uniqueness of each individual's body. Additionally, as a certified personal trainer, she is dedicated to building strength for the entire body to ensure consistent and sustainable practice, both on the ground and in the air.

Join expert teachers TK and Kristen on this elevated aerial retreat where we will delve deep into the world of aerial theories. Passionate about improving your wrap knowledge, creating new sequences, and exploring an endless array of modifications and variations? Do you love challenging, puzzle-like skills? While enjoying the beauty and tastes of Italy? Then you're in for a treat!
We'll focus on understanding wraps, discovering new pathways, and exploring the fluidity and connection between moves. Our mission is to finesse the basics and work our way up to more complex moves. You might even develop your own unique skills and sequences! We'll also have specialty workshops on strength training and injury prevention for aerials. Plus, we'll explore the picturesque Umbrian countryside, visit a local winery, and meander through charming towns. With delicious farm-to-table vegetarian cuisine and great company, this retreat is sure to be unforgettable. Who's ready to join us on this incredible journey?
What to expect? On Sunday, your day of arrival, we'll welcome you with a typical Italian 'Aperitivo'. Then you'll enjoy 4.5 days of training at our retreat center, offering stunning views from a south-facing hill in Italy's green heart of Umbria. During your free time in the afternoon, take some time to relax in our large pool; discover our property with its' hidden sitting spots, organic garden, wild flowers, olive, fig, apricot, cherry, apple and pear trees; or take one of the walking trails to explore the picturesque Italian countryside, with rolling vineyards, olive groves and a historic town just minutes away. On Wednesday afternoon we'll take a break from training to taste some delicious local wine and go out for dinner. Then, on Thursday, we'll go see the majestic Marmore waterfalls, have a delicious Italian lunch and visit the picturesque medieval town of San Gemini. On Monday evening we'll organise a movie night and karaoke on Wednesday Topping it all off with a circus jam and pool party Saturday evening!
We know how important nutrition is, which is why we will be serving nutritious and fresh food every day, wherever possible from our own garden or the direct surrounding area.

Getting Here
Oasi Sorgente, Amelia, Province of Terni, Italy
Directions
Fly into FCO Rome airport and take the train to Orte or Amelia/Narni Station. We will pick you up from the train station.
Accommodation
Oasi Sorgente offers three fully-equipped rental apartments, each with the capacity to sleep up to five guests comfortably. Every apartment features an open-plan living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Two of the apartments are designed with one bedroom and a loft space, while the other apartment features two bedrooms. In order to provide our guests with maximum comfort, all but one of the beds are single, ensuring that everyone has their own sleeping space.
