Robert Thurman is Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University as well as co-founder and President of
Tibet House US and it's
Menla Retreat & Spa. A world-wide lecturer on Tibetan Buddhism, activist for the plight of the Tibetan people, translator of Buddhist texts, and writer of popular Buddhist books. He recently has been awarded the Padma Shri Award, India’s fourth highest civilian honor for achievement in enriching Indian education and literature. His most recent book is the 300 page graphic novel,

Anthony Holland, MBA, ICCF Certified Executive Coach, Global Business & AI Technology consultant, author, speaker and Villanova University Adjunct Professor of DEI and Leadership Development. Anthony is a former Deloitte Consulting Partner and recognized Artificial Intelligence & Cloud software expert, a Board Advisor for XPRIZE, and Board Co-Chair for Inner Strength Education.
Jayne Gumpel, LCSW (she/her/hers) is a psychotherapist, trainer, and teacher with 30 years of experience working with couples, individuals, and groups in New York City and Woodstock, NY. Jayne is a professional clinical trainer in Psychedelic Integration Psychotherapy, is a member of the Woodstock Therapy Center’s Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) team, and has completed MDMA-assisted psychotherapy training through the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Jayne describes meditation as a core life practice, is a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and she includes mindfulness practice as a foundation of her work with clients. She is additionally trained in Imago Relationship Therapy and Gestalt Psychotherapy. Jayne is a co-founder of accessmindfulness.org, a 501c3, along with her son David. Her passion is supporting clients on their journey towards inner wisdom and healing from trauma to have more rich and satisfying lives and relationships.
Amy Edelstein is a transformational educator and author dedicated to supporting the emergence of our higher human potentials. She is founder and director of Inner Strength Education, which has empowered more than 29,000 Philadelphia high school students through innovative mindfulness and systems-thinking programs, earning her a Philadelphia Social Innovators Award. A Cornell University College Scholar with over 40 years in depth experience with contemplative practice, she is also author of seven books including award-winning The Conscious Classroom and Adventure in Zanskar.
Antonio Vasaiely is a dynamic entrepreneur and executive with a rich background in both multinational corporations and startups. Originating from Hamburg, Germany, with a foundation in Computer Science, he specializes in Software, Complex Distributed Systems, and AI. Antonio is dedicated to driving digitalization forward, holding key roles in sales, product, strategy, and business development. He actively contributes to the startup ecosystem as an investor and advisor, including a notable advisory role with the United Nations on AI and smart technology. Antonio contributed to the successful British effort to bring mindfulness programs to all their school students.

This Future of Education retreat will convene an intimate group of innovative and passionate thinkers from diverse fields to co-create a step change in our educational paradigm, one that will meet the reality of the present and set the foundations for truly positive future.

You will participate with 25 thought leaders, experts in education, contemplative arts, technology, equity, and public policy. We will immerse in small and large group dialogues and activities that will rapidly cross pollinate the best of our ideas, and identify key principles, practices, and even implementation tracks for these ideas to be piloted and refined.
Our mission is to make use of new opportunities advanced technology is bringing, combined with a much needed focus on whole person wellness and purpose. We will bring in wisdom and understanding from a variety of perspectives, coupled with innovative and practical implementation strategies to ensure that the youth of today become the wise, compassionate, and visionary contributors that our future needs.
