About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

"Peak experiences are only as powerful as their integration"

A comprehensive 10-day program to revitalize your Body, Mind, and Spirit. Combine the profound consciousness-expanding work of Ayahuasca and San Pedro with Somatic Integration Workshop.

This retreat is designed as a holistic journey that works on three key levels.

BODY. The Wisdom of Embodiment.

The body is our first home and most loyal guide. It is the foundation, the place where healing becomes real. Through the body, we integrate the mind, heart, and spirit, not as separate paths, but as one living organism of transformation.

Anchoring in the body opens the door to deeper experiences, both during ceremonies and in daily life.

Movement is one of the oldest medicines. Authentic, intuitive movement dissolves what is stagnant, regulates the nervous system, and restores our natural rhythm. And when we move together, rhythm becomes a universal language, creating deep connection and collective healing.

Somatic practices expand our capacity. They teach us to stay with discomfort gently, bravely and build emotional resilience. Through the body, we learn to embrace more life, more truth, and more freedom within ourselves.

Self-love begins here, in this physical form. When we treat the body with kindness, the heart naturally opens, and the world becomes softer. How we relate to the body shapes the way we relate to all of life.

The body is not separate from the spiritual path; it is the path. A sacred ally, a compass, a bridge between the visible and the invisible. Returning to the body is returning home.

SPIRIT. Guided by Plants

Spirit is the subtle intelligence that moves beneath the surface of everything, the inner flame that remembers who we truly are. Plants are teachers of the invisible: they guide us beyond the boundaries of personality, beyond stories, beyond fear, into the vast territory of the soul.

During the retreat, we learn to listen to this language. Plant spirits work not in concepts, but in vibration, in dreams, visions, silence, and deep inner knowing. They reveal our energetic field, open forgotten paths of perception, and restore us to our primal essence.

In the presence of these ancient allies, the soul begins to reveal itself. We are reminded that we are not separate, lost, or broken. We are part of a living, breathing cosmos.
Plants help us reconnect with the sacred: with the magnitude of nature, the intelligence of life present in every breath.

Spirit is also humility, the understanding that healing is not something we force, but something we surrender to. It is trust in the invisible, in the guidance of the plants, in the path that is born from within. To drink the medicine is to open the heart to the mystery. And to listen to the plants is to allow the soul to awaken once more.

MIND. Consciousness and the Discipline of Practice

The mind is the tool that shapes how we perceive the world. When it is clear, it becomes a powerful ally; when lost, it becomes a prison. Transformation requires not only the depth of spirit and the wisdom of the body, but also the refinement of the mind.

The mind learns through practice, discipline, and knowledge.

Meditation, breathwork, journaling, integration talks, shadow work, and exploring the inner world help us recognize our patterns with precision.

The mind helps us navigate emotions, make conscious decisions, and live in alignment with our values. When trained, it becomes spacious and calm; when untrained, it reacts from old wounds.

Clarity of mind allows us to see the difference between fear and intuition, projection and truth, impulse and guidance. It builds bridges so that the visions from ceremonies become real changes in how we live. It helps translate healing into daily life, relationships, work, family, and mission. And when the mind harmonizes with the body and spirit, we become whole.

We realize our dream, living and working in the deep Amazon forest, near plants, close to nature, close to the local healers' community. We deeply believe in the power of medicine. We came to this piece of land in 2015, and have since then grown slowly, in a organic way, building houses and infrastructure trying to limit interference with the forest we found at the beginning.

First Timer
I just completed my first-ever experience with ayahuasca, and it was with Psychonauta. I originally booked a seven-day retreat but ended up extending to ten days because of how powerful and supportive the experience was. I also upgraded my room, which was absolutely worth it and added a lot of comfort during the process.

From start to finish, I have nothing but good things to say. The morning yoga, the daily structure, and the one-on-one consultations were incredibly grounding and thoughtful, and they played a huge role in helping me integrate everything that came up during ceremony. Mundo, who leads the retreat, is someone I felt an immediate and solid connection with, and his facilitation staff were truly amazing. Pablo, in particular, stood out to me, but everyone working there brought a level of care, presence, and professionalism that made me feel completely supported throughout the journey.

This was my first ayahuasca experience, but it will not be my last. I’m already trying to make it back, hopefully in late January, though it may end up being next year. Either way, I know I’ll return. I’m deeply grateful for the experience and for the people at Psychonauta who made it what it was.

A New Found Love For Self and Life!
I'm afraid that most words I can think of do not come close to how grateful I am for taking this journey of self-discovery and healing. It can be scary taking a deep look inside yourself. The staff and facilitators at the Psychonauta Foundation were absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and loved. They truly cared about my needs and supported me the entire journey. I just met them and now I feel like they were always my family. The compassion and empathy were overwhelming and made my fears disappear so that I may receive the healing I needed. Thank you, Psychonauta Foundation. I feel my life is forever changed for the better and I could not have done it without you.

A Life-Changing Journey into the Soul
I used to be someone who never believed in spiritual experiences. To me, it always sounded like “esoteric nonsense” – until I decided to try it for myself. Today, I am endlessly grateful that I took this journey.

Through Ayahuasca I was able to discover something profound: the spiritual soul truly exists – and I was able to see and feel it. Since then, I have overcome many of my fears, released blockages, and I feel freer than ever before. It was an indescribably powerful and positive experience that I can only recommend to everyone – especially to those who are ready to face their fears.

The guidance on site was wonderful. Rabia supported me with incredible kindness and mental strength, and Tatamundo carried everything with such calmness and professionalism that I always felt safe and in good hands.

The community itself was a true gift: people from all over the world, open-hearted, kind, and authentic. Even though I am usually a rather closed-off person who tends to stay on my own, I felt immediately welcomed in this group.

For me, this journey was a deeply transformative experience that I will never forget. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Psychonauta Foundation and to everyone who accompanied me along the way.

Life changing
Life changing trip does not cover it. I came here because I felt a calling from God to heal my wounds. I spent 25 years living in pain under the darkness of trauma. That sounds dramatic af but my childhood was rough. I spent so long punishing myself for crimes I didn’t commit. I was living with the belief I was not meant to be alive.

Everything changed here during my 10 day stay on the silent dieta. It was tough and scary at times. the plant medicine gave me what I needed. The silence allowed me to gain wisdom and process the knowledge I received during ceremonies. I left feeling reborn. I come home feeling clean. I approached it with respect, keeping my diet a week before the retreat, and a week after.

This is tough work. It’s not easy to feel isolated during the dieta. But it was exactly what I needed.
After the dieta and my 4 plant ceremonies, I stayed for another week with the folks on the open retreat for integration time. I’m so thankful I stayed longer to allow myself time in nature to process all the changes. I come home victorious! If you feel a calling to come heal, this is the right place.

The shamans are full of wisdom. Their songs will stay with me forever. Tata Mundo is as wise as anyone you could ever meet. Just his presence brought comfort to us all. Lucia and Ferli are angles sent from god. All the staff, the food, the accommodations, everything worked like a symphony to allow myself to heal decades of wounds and trauma.

When I searched for a place to come and do this work, something told me this was the right place. I’m glad I followed my intuition. What a blessing to experience. This is a holy place to visit.

The dieta is not easy!! Please know you will have to face yourself and that is scary. If you’re willing to do the work, THIS is the place.

When I arrived to Iquitos and spent the night there before the retreat, I met many people walking the streets. They could tell I was there for the plant medicine. When they asked me where I would do it, and I told them Psychonauta Foundation, they all cheered and said you’re going to a great place. It brought me such comfort and they were all right. This is the spot.
