Maryna Zagorodnia- Psychotherapist
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Maryna is an accredited Gestalt psychotherapist with an MSc in Psychology. She works in
private practice, supporting adults through trauma healing, self-exploration, and the
integration of psychedelic experiences and other non-ordinary states of consciousness. Her
work is grounded in the belief that our difficulties and survival strategies are not “problems to
be fixed”, but meaningful adaptations that deserve to be met with respect and curiosity.
Maryna has completed the Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research at the
California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), as well as a one-year professional training in
Compassionate Inquiry with Dr Gabor Maté. She has additional training in trauma therapy,
plant medicine facilitation, psychedelic integration, and various body-based and mindfulness
modalities. Over the last few years, she has specialised in psychedelic integration work,
helping people make sense of powerful experiences and translate insights into everyday life.
Her approach is relational, trauma-informed, and body-oriented.
In retreat settings, Maryna brings a calm, grounded presence and a deep trust in each person’s inner wisdom. She
supports participants before and after psychedelic experiences to orient, process, and
integrate what comes up – whether it is insight, grief, confusion, relief, or something that has
no words yet. Her intention is to help people stay connected to themselves throughout the
process and to carry the meaning of their journeys back into relationships, work, and daily
life in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
