About Paws of Björnlund

Mission & Vision

What began as a love for dogs and the silence of Lapland has become a way of life: a place where humans and animals live and work in harmony with nature. Our vision was never to create a tourist destination, but a place where sled dogs can live, train, and develop their natural abilities in a species-appropriate way.
For us, sustainability means taking responsibility – for nature, animals, and people. That’s why we focus on quality over quantity, respectful tourism, and genuine mushing far from show and commerce.

Our work unites three worlds:
🐕Professional sled dog racing
❄️Authentic husky experiences
🌲Nature-based mentoring

We believe that deep connection doesn’t come from tourist entertainment programs, but from authentic experiences.

In Björnlund you’ll find only our home, a guesthouse, and a kennel area with cozy dog houses that serve as warm places for our four-legged companions. The nearest neighbors live more than 2 km away – pure solitude! Our property covers over 6 hectares of largely untouched land, offering plenty of space for working with the dogs as well as for guests seeking peace and recovery.
