Senso di Cattaro is located on the waterfront of Boka Kotorska Bay, in a sleepy village named Dobrota in Montenegro. Translated into English, Dobrota means kindness and this is exactly the feeling that envelopes every person who arrives here. Natural beauty of this unique bay, dramatic backdrop of mountains, unpolluted air and healthy produce available in Montenegro creates an ideal setting for any retreat. An extraordinary combination of sea and mountain air is highly beneficial for respiratory system. Peaceful atmosphere of the venue and serenity of the bay are perfect for deep relaxation and meditation.

The building originally belonged to a captain's family and was built in the early 18th Century from local stone respecting natural land structure. In our time it was repurposed into a boutique property, furnished with antiques and using materials and furniture from local sources as much as possible. Sustainability of this place is embedded from the very beginning of its construction. Sea jetties serving the building were built in a traditional way, without altering local coast line, which is important factor in preserving sea life of the bay.

Location

This heritage property is just 15km from Tivat International Airport and is easily accessible from other airports. It is within easy walking distance to the old town of Kotor, UNESCO World Heritage site, thus conveniently located for exploring this beautiful region with a rich history.

This property features restaurant, bar, lounge area, an outdoor pool, sauna, mini fitness centre, and small wellness spa. Long seafront is ideal for walking, jogging, bicycle riding and the jetty in front is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and dining in the evening.

Main Terrace - suitable for yoga classes, dance, meditation; sea view, open sky, mostly shaded, 3 loudspeakers – 100 m2, fit for up to 12 - 16 people for a yoga practice, around 30 people for comfortable sitting on mats.

Small Studio - is ideal for individual classes or small groups during rainy days, suitable for yoga classes, dance, meditation; WC, showers, sauna, massage room, large mirror on one wall, old stone walls, room can be darkened for use of projector – 30 m2, fit for up to 8 persons.

Lower Studio - suitable for yoga classes, dance, meditation, workshops; parquet floors, old stone walls, room can be darkened for use of projector – 40 m2, fit for up to 15 peoplefor a yoga practice, 20 - 30 people for comfortable sitting on mats.

Jetty - perfect for morning classes of yoga; on the sea, open sky, partly shaded – fit for up to 16 people for a yoga practice, around 30 people for comfortable sitting on mats.

Senso di Cattaro is ideal to hire for group retreats, private gatherings, group workshops and events.

It is a great base for groups and retreat organizers, where they will find an excellent venue with many facilities, supporting a retreat from start to finish.
