5 days of community and solitude
I spent my 5 days at Unicamp in a clean and efficient self contained cabin that was decorated with delightful art pieces and stories created by the camp members. The first 3 days I was alone to explore the diverse natural surroundings and everyday I found new and wonderful spots to set up and paint my plein air oil paintings. When the afternoons were warm I would take a swim on one of the 2 beaches available on the little lake which was a short walk from my cabin.

The last 2 days my husband joined me in the cabin, which had ample room for more guests but we enjoyed the space to ourselves. The rest of the family came and booked their own lodgings in the dorms for Thanksgiving. We all celebrated Thanksgiving together along with the other campers who were closing down their cites for the year. A feast was arranged and Christopher Love cooked us a wonderful feast which was followed by an evening campfire outside the lodge.

I will be returning next year to repeat the same great experience. I recommend the outing for any family who wants a taste of nature.

Another beautiful, soul-filled weekend dancing at Unicamp
About 30 dancers attended a Sacred Circle Dance weekend at Unicamp, camping, staying in dorms and cottages. The staff were very helpful and attentive and did their best to make our stay an easy and enjoyable one, and sort out any confusions.
Thank you - Unicamp gets better every year! One suggestion - the dancers arriving could not always find or identify a staff member to check in with - this created a bit of confusion.

Returning after 40 years away.
A wonderful place that has not changed much since I was there 40 years ago! Improvements have been made but the beautify of the place is still pristine.
Meals are wonderful and the people loving and caring and welcoming. The good Unitarian tradition of welcoming everyone is there.
The camp sites and trailers are well in the trees, and do not impose onto the general community area. A good feeling of freedom and relaxation I found there.
A lovely fresh water pond and winding streams give the place a fairy-tale atmosphere.
.So happy to have had the opportunity to visit Unicamp again.

UniCamp review
Overall, on our four-day visit to Unicamp, we both had an excellent experience.

The staff, as usual, was friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the camp. The washrooms were impeccably clean. Also, the guests at Unicamp were very friendly, showed an interest in one's conversation, and provided intelligent discussions. One evening, we went to a drumming group in which we learned a few basic drumming patterns and we practiced those patterns and had a whole lot of fun doing it.

Perhaps the highlight of our stay was the Full Moon Review which consisted of poetry, music, dance, and video displays all coordinated into one unified experience. The review was original, provocative, and fun to experience.

The Unicomp experience is highly recommended!
