Holistic Healing
This is my second retreat with Samadi Healing, which was a profound deepening of the experience I had during my first retreat. The San Pedro offered here is very potent, pure, and cooked with love and skill. It works on many levels, though for me it goes straight to the heart, allowing me to experience all that arises solely through the heart center.
I can also say with confidence that Samer is the most authentic practitioner I have come across in my many experiences with various plant medicines, and he practices according to his shamanic tenets across multiple domains (not just San Pedro). You see Samer's holistic shamanic approach to medicine work manifested through the additional offerings during each retreat - the Temazcal, the Andean Despacho, Kambo, Rapé, and the various hikes (to Pumahuanca or Auzangate). You can also experience his shamanism through the food offered at the retreat, which is truly some of the best I've had - made with the same care and energy that is felt in and out of ceremony.
The Temazcal, Despacho, Kambo, and Rapé are collaborative and multifaceted, working on different energetic layers to encompass a well-rounded process of healing that adapts to one's individual needs. Each deepened my process in a complementary way. This retreat we also hiked to Pumahuanca, which was, San Pedro aside, one of the most beautiful and secluded hikes I have ever been on - like a slice of Eden, a small paradise teaming with healing energy and life. The San Pedro, in combination with the hike, allows one to channel and move things through communion with nature in a way that can't quite be described, but rather must be experienced.
I truly can't recommend Samadi Healing enough - if you're looking for a life-changing experience with a shaman dedicated to his craft, you need look no further!
