Gareth

Gareth, born and raised in Zimbabwe, is the co-founder of Sana Sana Retreat, a holistic health and wellness space in Spain created from a deeply personal journey of healing, recovery, and rebuilding life with intention. After overcoming drug & alcohol addiction, mental health struggles, and surviving a suicide attempt doctors didn’t expect him to recover from, Gareth made the decision to live, and to live differently. He’s also experienced the deep grief of losing his father and best friend to suicide, which makes his work today not only purposeful, but personal. Now, through his retreats, he helps others press pause and reconnect with themselves with nourishing food, space to rest, meaningful movement, and support that’s honest and human. Gareth is also the author of five published books, including two recipe books, all created to support others on their journey toward health, healing, and self-discovery. He believes your past may shape you, but it doesn’t define you, and that small, conscious steps can lead to life-changing transformation.

Jeroen is the co-founder of Sana Sana, and helps people reconnect with themselves through simplicity, structure, and support. His path to this work wasn’t straightforward. Having grown up in Holland in a challenging environment shaped by emotional hardship and family dysfunction, Jeroen knows firsthand what it means to rebuild from the inside out. Through years of inner work, discipline, and a commitment to holistic health, he’s transformed his own life, and now helps others do the same. Whether through the immersive retreat experience, personalised VIP programs, or 1:1 coaching, Jeroen offers more than just support. He offers real, lasting transformation. Grounded in authenticity, driven by purpose, and known for his dry humour and depth, he brings a refreshingly honest perspective to wellness. His mission is clear: to help people move beyond their excuses, take ownership of their lives, and create a way of living that feels strong, meaningful, and true.
