About this Retreat
Movement has always been central to Adriana’s life. With a background in dance, she found her way into yoga through movement — a path that deepened into an exploration of breath, awareness, and self-connection. Yoga became an important part of her own healing journey, supporting her through anxiety, panic attacks, and physical pain related to scoliosis.
Her work is shaped by intuitive movement, intelligent sequencing, and emotional depth. With training in Ashtanga Vinyasa and ongoing study of vinyasa, hatha, mobility, and breathwork, Adriana creates a clear, compassionate space where practitioners can build awareness and develop a sustainable practice that supports them on and off the mat. Together with Krystsina, she is the co-founder of Sense & Presence Retreats.
Krystsina brings a grounded, embodied and disciplined presence to the work, drawing from her own journey with chronic pain and physical healing. She guides students with steadiness and lightness, encouraging strength while honoring the body’s natural limit. Her classes are a blend of Hatha yoga, functional mobility, breath awareness, and nervous system regulation, all combined in intelligent and intuitive sequences. Together with Adriana, she is the co-founder of Sense & Presence Retreats.
Patrick is a one of a kind content creator, yoga and fitness practitioner, and breathwork instructor. His presence adds a special touch to the Sense & Presence retreats: he captures beautiful moments throughout the retreats and is also be available for private photo sessions and breathwork practices at an extra cost. He has a way of capturing the exact energy and essence of people and places, and his work carries that same core value of intentional simplicity on which Sense & Presence was built.
Details of this retreat
The Sense and Presence Retreat in Costa Rica is an invitation to reconnect through movement, breath, stillness, and the senses. It’s a space for committed practitioners to deepen their inner work, supported by nature, by practice, and by community.
During 6 days, you will explore presence not as an idea, but as something lived and felt in the body, in the breath, and in relationship with our surrounding and others. The remote jungle setting becomes part of the experience: the sounds, the textures, the unpredictability of the wild all invite you to meet the moment as it is.
Through daily practices you’ll explore what it means to stay present, especially when it’s unfamiliar or uncomfortable. There will be space to rest, reflect, and connect, both with yourself and with others walking the same path.
This retreat is about listening more closely, sensing more deeply, and expanding your capacity to stay present with what arises. It’s a space to grow, to feel, to share, and to remember what it means to be fully here.
