Details of this retreat

Step away from the relentless pace of daily life into a serene sanctuary in the redwoods, and join us for an intimate journey to rejuvenate and rediscover the deep reserves of vitality and joy that already reside within you.

This intimate mindfulness retreat is rooted in Klara’s signature program, The Journey to Joy. Drawing on powerful teachings that bridge ancient wisdom and modern science, together we will gently explore how to release accumulated stress, awaken the deep joy that already lives within you, and harness your natural energy so it flows in support of what matters most.

Guided by Klara through meditation and breathwork, and by Leslie’s soulful gentle yoga and mindful movement, you’ll discover how these practices open the door to deep inner renewal.

Held in the healing embrace of the redwoods, our nature connection sessions will powerfully support your healing and the natural flow of your energy, helping you align with life’s vital currents and flow. This is not about doing more or forcing change - it is a heartfelt journey of exploration and letting go, allowing you to step into a lighter, more radiant way of being.

You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated from the inside out - lighter, clearer, and glowing with a renewed sense of joy and vitality that you can carry with you long after the retreat ends.

Exceeded Expectations
Ratna Ling Retreat Center exceeded my expectations by far! This was my first yoga retreat and my first time at Ratna Ling. So, I had no idea what to expect. I was worried that the accommodations would be too rustic or the food would not be to my liking. However, I had no reason to be anxious. The cottages were very nice! The rooms were spacious, clean, with good amenities, and beautiful, relaxing views. The food was delicious and accommodated a gluten free diet if needed! I am not a vegetarian, but after this weekend, I feel like I could be. The salad bars were full of yummy options. The hot entrees varied from Thai curries, to Mediterranean themed options to warming soups. Their breakfasts were amazing: a yogurt bar, an oatmeal bar, eggs, mushrooms, avocados, breads, and fruit. The dessert options were so good too. I can't write enough good things about the food. We were lucky that the weather was perfect. We got to enjoy a nice guided hike to Stump beach that was an added pleasant surprise to our experience at Ratna Ling. Finally, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I am so happy that I was able to spend the weekend at Ratna Ling with my friends doing yoga. It was just the kind of getaway that we all needed.

Spring retreat
First of all, I’d like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the retreat! The room had a couple things that could use improvement, mainly in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom, the hot water valve was leaking. And we had a few problems with the shower, retaining hot water.
Other than those couple of items, the food was delicious. The staff was amazing and I definitely will return.
