Details of this retreat

Emotions are a natural part of being human—but when they feel overwhelming, they can leave us feeling ungrounded, reactive, or exhausted. Whether you find yourself caught in cycles of anxiety, anger, disappointment, grief, or emotions you can't quite name, this retreat offers a gentle path toward greater balance and ease.
Together, we'll explore emotional wellness through meditation, mindful movement, reflection, and contemplative practices that help you understand the wisdom your emotions hold. Rather than resisting difficult feelings, you'll learn how to meet them with awareness, compassion, and practical tools that restore steadiness in both body and mind. As we cultivate presence and self-kindness, emotions become less something to fear and more an opportunity for healing and growth.
Throughout the weekend, you'll be guided through practices that calm the nervous system, soften emotional tension, and reconnect you with the natural ease of the breath. We'll nurture gratitude, appreciation, and joy while gently releasing emotional burdens that may have been carried for years. In the supportive atmosphere of retreat, you'll discover how to respond to life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and an open heart.
You'll return home with simple, sustainable practices to help you navigate difficult emotions, care for yourself with greater compassion, and cultivate lasting inner peace—resources you can return to whenever life feels overwhelming.

A fantastic place to participant in and host retreats!
I have been to Ratna Ling as a participant and two-time retreat facilitator. It is a fantastic place to participate and also host retreats! The setting is beautiful, the volunteer staff are kind, the food is healthy and delicious, and the yoga room is stunning. As a retreat facilitator, Ratna Ling makes it easy for you and handles the administrative parts so you can focus on what you do best. I look forward to hosting more retreats here in the future.
