About this Retreat
Angela’s love for yoga began in 2008, when she started practicing with Rodney Yee yoga DVDs at home. Over time, her practice evolved into attending weekly classes at a local studio in Cloverdale. She left each class feeling vibrant, energized, happier—and even taller in the way she walked and sat. With encouragement from a friend and yoga instructor, Angela became a Certified Yoga Fitness Instructor in January 2021 through the American Fitness Professionals & Associates. Since then, she has continued her education through AFPA, along with numerous workshops with Breathe For Change, an organization dedicated to fostering environments of well-being for educators and students alike. www.studiofiveyoga.com @asanaswith_ang

Details of this retreat
Step away from the noise of everyday life and give yourself a weekend to simply slow down, breathe, and restore. Join Angela Olson of Cloverdale’s Studio 5 for a nourishing 3-day retreat at Ratna Ling, where yoga, nature, deep rest, and sound invite you to unplug from your usual routines and reconnect with yourself. The heart of yoga lies in deeply listening to yourself and honoring what is true and authentic for you.
Throughout the weekend, Angela will guide a thoughtful balance of energizing vinyasa and deeply restful restorative yoga, creating space for both movement and stillness. You’ll be immersed in the quiet beauty of Ratna Ling’s redwood forests, enjoy wholesome vegetarian meals, and venture beyond the retreat center for a refreshing nature walk to the Sonoma Coast. As evening settles in, a soothing sound bath by Kendall Galvez will invite the body and mind into an even deeper state of relaxation.
As summer begins to soften into fall, this weekend offers a chance to reset your rhythm before stepping into a new season. Come with a friend or come on your own—no particular level of yoga experience is necessary. Simply bring your desire to unplug, spend time in nature, move your body, rest deeply, and return home feeling grounded, refreshed, and renewed.
