Details of this retreat

Are you feeling the call to pause at a threshold, to resource yourself to meet times of change?

In ancient Celtic myth, thresholds, forest edges, shorelines, river crossings, were places alive with power, where the old begins to loosen and the new starts to take form. A place to pause and gather your strength before the journey ahead.

At the Threshold is a 3-day retreat where you can step out of the noise and reconnect with what resources you. Through three deep breathwork ceremonies, we’ll open to the intelligence of the body, supporting the nervous system to reset, unwind patterned responses, and rediscover fluidity in times of change. Somatic inquiry, nature connection, and collective ritual will weave a compassionate, potent field for renewal, so you can step out of reactivity and into resilience and grace.

Join experienced breathwork and somatic facilitators, Kat Ballam and Lizzie Keates, who bring together over 20 years of experience in transformational group process, breath therapy, ceremonial work and somatic practice. The weekend will be a deep journey for the senses including Shamanic ceremony with live soundscape (with live cello), a Celtic Sweathouse ritual and delicious, nourishing home-cooked food.

Held at a stunning retreat centre in South Devon, with beautiful accommodation among meadows and orchards, plus a wood-fired sauna and stream-fed plunge pool.
