"We came expecting one outcome and left with so much more we couldn’t have wished for…
Incredible teachers, organization, level of attention to details, deliciously prepared meals, incredible nature and lots of learning and releasing of the baggage we carry with us. Apart from various sessions and workshops we were offered plenty of free time to reconnect with your emotions and feelings, nature and time to play and explore. Another takeaways is the value of making life long relationships with the like-minded women - precious gift.
I felt complete surrender to the experience and I think it’s still so raw but I will never forget this retreat.
Lots of gratitude for lovely ladies who provided guidance and care for our healing souls. "

"I would like to recommend Samudra Retreats to everyone. I had a wonderful, deep, self discovery journey and left Gozo feeling great. Samudra Team is wonderful with a great personalised approach to everyone, rich programme, well balanced, delicious food and learning about yourself. I’m definitely going back 💙"
"Attending Samudra was a life-changing experience for me. The retreat provided an excellent introduction to the 8 limbs of yoga, allowing me to deepen my understanding and practice.
One of the highlights of the retreat was the personalized 1:1 sessions with Mila and Luca. These sessions allowed me to address specific concerns and receive individualized guidance on my yoga practice.
The group sharing circles were another valuable aspect of the retreat. In these circles, we had the opportunity to connect with fellow participants and share our experiences and insights. It was inspiring to hear others' stories and perspectives, and the sense of community and support was truly uplifting.
The serene and picturesque island of Gozo added to the overall experience. The food provided at the retreat was nourishing and delicious.
The most transformative aspect of the retreat was the people I met. Instantly connecting with like-minded individuals who were also on their own journey of self-discovery and growth was incredibly empowering. We supported each other, shared our challenges and victories, and created lasting bonds. The sense of camaraderie and encouragement was truly transformative.
As a result of my time in Gozo, I have gained valuable experiences and lessons that have made me a better person. The retreat helped me cultivate a sense of stillness and inner peace, which I have carried with me into my daily life. It has also motivated me to make meaningful changes in my lifestyle, such as incorporating regular yoga and meditation practice, and prioritizing self-care and self-reflection.
I am immensely grateful for the time I spent in Gozo and highly recommend it to anyone seeking stillness, peace, and healing. The retreat provided a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth and transformation, and I believe it has the potential to positively impact anyone who chooses to embark on this journey."
"In one word: everything. As a starting point, the island and setting were magic. The houses are charming and soothing. I was having trouble sleeping before the retreat and there I slept like a baby and it continues now back home, that is one of the gifts I got from Samudra.
The instructors are a group of wise and spiritual women who made me feel like home every morning, every day.
The balance between the one to one sessions, time alone and group sessions was simply perfect.
It is actually quite difficult to put into words what this experience meant to me. I felt so privileged and grateful for having the luck to land in this slow living hidden universe.
Gracias ;-)"
"I am short of words to describe my experience in Samudra.
I went to the retreat alone, slightly anxious and hesitant. I left the retreat with a peaceful mind, rested, joyful, excited about life and last but not least with friends for life from all over the world.
Mila, Luca and Jade are truly wonderful and I felt at home from the first moment. Alone time, treatments and community time were in perfect balance.
The food looked beautiful, tasted great and was really fulfilling.
Im truly grateful to myself for going there and to the people of Samudra for being there.
I have recommended Samudra to all of my friends by now and I recommend it to you dear reader.
There is a magic in Samudra that cannot be put into words, only experienced! "
"Samudra is an incredibly special place run by incredibly special people. I went with no expectation, hoping to relax and practice some yoga and mindfulness - it is that plus so much more! I've come back feeling totally revived in myself and with life! Luca, Mila and Jade go above and beyond to make sure your experience is as personal as possible, that you feel totally comfortable in your setting and have everything you need - physically, emotionally and spiritually. The bedrooms and all the buildings you practice in are stunning, you feel like you're in a magical place, on the edge of the world. The schedule is split between free time to walk to the beach or into town, rest and sleep, journal and reflect on your sessions and then morning yoga, group meals, sound baths, dancing, one-to-one sessions, massage - the list goes on. You won't ever feel short of anything to do but you will absolutely leave feeling totally rested and recouperated. My experience at Samudra was nothing short of life changing, I wish I could go again and again! I have so much love and gratitude for the whole Samudra team and all my fellow group who I was lucky enough to do this experience with. "
"a warm and personal welcome. absolutely incredible care and a landscape that will take your breath away. unforgettable"
"Kindness is also in words and actions. "
"Very experienced "
"Amazing therapy and amazing human being. I loved her "
"My experience of the retreat was mixed.
I liked the sound healing. There was too less yoga for me. Would have loved an afternoon session too.
Some of the sessions were more like a beginner introduction of the topic. I expected to ‘do’ the practice as an experienced practitioner.
Mila was a real yogi in her words and soul. The other two were quite abrupt and harsh in their words. Sometimes people learn the theory of yoga but are not able to integrate it into their being.

"I searched for more than 'just' a yoga retreat, and wanted a bit of luxury, and found the perfect retreat for me.
There was so much offered in this retreat as well as plenty of private time. The entire program was unbelievable, and very much appreciated!
I feel like I've grown personally and spiritually in more ways than I could have imagined. I feel lighter and brighter and genuinely happier, like a huge load has been lifted from my shoulders. Like I can enjoy life again, and not be so overworked, worried, and down. I gained clarity, learned a ton about myself and others. It was an absolutely amazing experience.
The hosts are absolutely incredible! They took care of us as if we were friends and family.
Samudra Retreats Gozo is the real deal and not some woo-woo group trying to make a buck. They really do care about their work, have invested a ton of time and energy in perfecting every single detail, and are very knowledgeable about so many topics. I learned SO much and feel a million times better than when I arrived.
I am a new person because of them, and the group we had. It feels like I've made life-long friends and I'm sure we'll stay connected.
The vegan meals were also brilliantly designed and couldn't have been more delicious. I was the only vegan there, so the cook fully accommodated me and everyone else was also extremely grateful for these delicious meals which made me happy as I love it when non-vegans eat vegan meals with pleasure. :) Sara was an uber talented cook, just wow!
I couldn't be happier with how things turned out and definitely recommend them to anyone who really wants to personally and spiritually develop and grow. It's the perfect retreat for that."
