I felt peace
My experience at Odyssey's Meditation and Psilocybin Retreat in Gaston, OR was one of my top three most meaningful experiences of my life. It was life changing for me in that I experienced something very unexpected during my journey - a glimpse into something mystical in which I felt more peace and universal interconnectedness than I've ever felt before. I can't explain it well but I am certain it will stay with me forever in a most profound and emotional way.

Finding Connection Through Grief
Attending the Odyssey grief retreat was among the most meaningful experiences of my life and far exceeded my expectations!
The experience gave me a new perspective on my grief and helped me feel more connected to myself, my environment, and the people around me. The facilitators created an atmosphere of trust and care from the very beginning, guiding the process with deep knowledge, authenticity, and compassion. The retreat beautifully combined evidence-based practices, meaningful rituals, and a supportive community, making the entire experience feel natural, safe, and deeply transformative.

The facilitators' kindness, openness and expertise combined with Odyssey’s process and tools nearly guarantees a positive experience - as long as you show up and do your part. I felt everyone, including the facilitators, was there for the right reasons. I was able to reflect on my life and intentions without bias or judgement - providing clarity with pure confidence absent from anxiety or societal-driven doubt and uncertainty.

Deeply profound
Though difficult to contextualize, the Odyssey retreat I attended in CO was profound on many levels. While I have work ahead of me to integrate the numerous insights I received, I was able to work through some long-standing grief that I'm unsure any amount of therapy would have ever touched. I don't know that I would have had such a deep & positive experience were it not for the tremendous care & guidance of our two facilitators, Kayli & Kathleen. Heartfelt thanks to them & my fellow participants. Finally, I think Odyssey did an amazing job creating a container for growth/healing as everything from the accommodations, to the food, to the preparation & integration sessions were thoughtfully arranged & I highly recommend them for those seeking a retreat of this type.
