About this Retreat
Amber Wolf Moon is a Somatic Relational Therapist, Registered Counsellor, Yoga Teacher, Embodiment Facilitator and Ceremonialist that brings in a trauma-informed way of facilitating from the heart that is gentle yet powerful to keep the nervous system regulated/co-regulated where participants can feel safe to be their authentic self and express through their body. She has been devoted to Ecstatic Dance in the community of Nelson for the past 4 years and facilitating for the past decade world-wide. Amber has a uniqueness that makes it easy to be in her presence and show up in your rawness. She has a fine skill of empowering clients/participants to embody their gifts and purpose. She gets most lit up when leading groups large or small in a ceremonial, somatic way attuning to nature, spirit and plant medicine support. Amber has a lot of experience leading retreats, working with plant medicines, and guiding people home to their body's wisdom and beauty.

Mossy Tree is a passionate Ecstatic Dance DJ & Sound Healer bringing in sounds from around the world and channeling with his many instruments : handpan, didgeridoo, tongue drum, jaw harp, flutes, kalimba and more. He has been DJing for many years offering ecstatic dances and performing at many wellness festivals including various Regional Burning Man's. He brings a gentle, yet powerful masculine presence to the co-creations he and Amber offer together. His background with various training of Yoga Teaching, Sound Healing & Cacao Facilitation along with travelling world-wide brings a sense of humble holding where participants feel safe, welcomed and receptive to his potent medicine. His music comes through as a prayer and a pathway to connect to Spirit.

Blossom into Being - A Spring Equinox Ecstatic Dance Medicine Retreat :
Come dance into the truth of your Being as we Blossom into Spring! We are inviting you to EMERGE into your highest potential in the most embodied, supportive and loving way. Amber and Felix, along with the Sacred Plant Teachers, guide you into deeper clarity of what wants to be healed and integrative ways to fully flourish. They hold the space in a safe, trauma-informed container where all parts of you are welcomed, felt and honored.
Through the medicine of Ecstatic Dance - a free-form movement practice without words that is spreading world-wide because of its healing power, is emphasized in this weekend retreat. This is different from a one off ecstatic dance as we will build coherence and safety within the group over the weekend to truly peel back the layers of protection and shadows to flower in your dance like no other dance before! The music will be intentional, ceremonial and empowering with a wide variety of genres that encourages playful, explorative, sensual and interactive expressions. All emotions can be expressed through dance without words or stories - this is where the alchemization happens!
Worries and stress melt away when landing at Johnsons Landing Retreat Center. It feels like a whole new world of powerful nature supporting your system to unwind, be present and be held by the land. I was very impressed with the Retreat Center, the buildings and grounds are perfection and very comfortable. My private room was cozy and very well kept. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and the meals were exquisite. I love the beauty and remoteness of Johnson's Retreat Center and will certainly consider returning.
The leader of the qi gong activities knew his content thoroughly and presented it in a gentle and informative manner. He was ready and able to answer any and all queries.

Amazing land, spaces, stewards and meals.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this beautiful place. I just returned home from another five night retreat at Johnson’s landing retreat center, and it was incredible.. the land holds so much magic, the beautiful mature trees, the views, the garden, the lodge and the ceremony spaces are difficult to put into words. Each and every meal I had was so nourishing and delicious, most of it straight from the garden. The volunteers., owners of the land and the stewards of Johnson’s Landing are always smiling and welcoming, and very kind.
I look forward to returning to this beautiful place. Thank you for all of it.
