Join the founder of Dance the Medicine, Bernice Raabis, and SOMA’s, Nadine Wildwood, for this DANCE MEDICINE • FULL DAY RETREAT

Immerse yourself from morning till night in a full day of retreat and rejuvenation. Together we sink into relaxation, eat delicious food, and dance, dance, dance!  We will weave live DJ sets, sound healing, and yoga together for a restorative day-out-of-time at the iconic Sentinel nature spa.

Conscious free-form dance (Ecstatic Dance) has no choreography or steps, you don’t have to identify as a dancer to join us. We invite you to come as you are.

Our goal is to take you  ― Inward, to connect with your body and settle in ― Outward, into connection with other dancers; sharing the simple gift of having a glorious human body that can dance.  And ― Onward, emerging from the retreat satiated, having feasted on music, dance, delicious food, and each other’s presence.

Overlooking spectacular Kootenay Lake, the Lodge, with its massive windows and expansive deck affords breathtaking lake & mountain views. The Maloca, a magnificent round, timbered ceremonial and activity space, seems to float above the lake. A profound experience
We came to the sentinel for a couples retreat that was absolutely profoud. We felt so welcome and at “home”. A beautiful place to do healing work. The meals were healthy and they catered around all my dietary needs.

It was refreshing to be offline and focus on our deep work. It was a refreshing place for healing.

Astounding
Another amazing weekend at the Sentinel. The maloca, a temple, the land and water, the staff, and the food...all astounding. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Will be back. So grateful.

Incredible Space
The Sentinel has offers unique spaces to relax and dive deep, each of them special in their own way. From the cedar sauna and hot tub/cold plunge, to the Maloca and the authentic Mongolian Ger, the lodge and the grounds themselves. Breakfasts were nourishing, healthy and plentiful, I wish I could have eaten more! The rooms are spacious, very clean and beautifully designed. Everyone that works there is kind and helpful. They understand what hospitality is! Highly recommend the Sentinel to stay - one night is not enough!

Wonderful place to relax!
This is the second time I have visited the Sentinel. I went in the fall and the spring but I would be curious to know what it's like staying there in the summer.

The chefs make great food and you cannot miss out on that.

The hospitality is great as well and hopefully they finish their new building soon.

For those that want to do a quick hike, Fletcher Falls is nearby.
