Dr. Devyani Ji is a fully trained Ayurvedic physician with a strong academic background in Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Nutrition. Alongside her medical training, she has built an unusual second career as a national-level athlete, mountaineer, and Khelo India medal winner, giving her a rare, first-hand understanding of physical fitness and mental resilience that goes beyond textbook knowledge.
She blends traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with modern health science, rather than treating the two as separate systems, and her wellness programmes are built to address the body, mind, and spirit together, following the core belief in Ayurveda that these three are never truly separate from one another. Because of her athletic background, her diet and lifestyle advice often takes into account how physically active a student’s daily life actually is, rather than offering the same generic health rules to everyone, which makes her guidance feel more personal and practical, especially for students who lead active lives outside the yoga mat.
At the Bali campus, Dr. Devyani runs wellness workshops, structured detox retreats, and one-on-one diet consultations. Her sessions focus heavily on preventing illness before it starts, and on helping students genuinely understand their own bodies and constitution, rather than simply handing out a fixed diet plan.
She leads: Ayurveda and Wellness classes in Bali TTC programes.
Traditional Kundalini & Tantra Yoga)
My life is dedicated to human unity, love, and compassion through our work at Samadhi Kundalini Yoga Ashram and The World Peace Yoga School. Kundalini Tantra, Pranayama & Meditation are my passions and my goal is to help set you free so that you can be your true authentic self. Born in the UK to an Indian family, I was drawn to the path of spirituality from a young age, but it was life's mis-steps and experiences that gradually made the call from my soul loud enough to leave behind my life in the UK and return to India. Yoga was the path that lifted the veil for me to live life once again in the present moment. I quickly immersed myself in the wisdom of yoga, learning from many of the great masters of the Himalayas, qualifying as a Kundalini Yoga teacher and going on to master Sound Healing, Cacao Rituals and Reiki which I love to bring into my Kundalini practice. My life a service to humanity. As Kundalini Teacher of World Peace Yoga School, my vision is to share the beauty and power of the wisdom that changed my life with you.

Yansa Ji was born in Klungkung, Bali, in 1972. His first encounter with yoga came from a book he found in the sixth grade. Curious but untrained, he began trying the poses on his own, with no teacher to guide or correct him. Long before yoga became central to his life, Yansa lived with serious chronic pain and depended on daily medication just to manage it. Looking for another way through it, he found his first true mentor, Dada Vibhakarananda, and under his guidance, both his health and his understanding of yoga changed completely.
He was later initiated into the Ananda Marga community and went on to complete his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training under Master Manohara and Dada Vibhakarananda himself. That personal journey through pain and recovery shapes how he teaches today. He tends to pay as much attention to a student’s mindset and mental state as he does to their physical posture, treating the two as deeply connected rather than separate, and his classes carry a quiet, personal authenticity that comes from having lived through real physical struggle himself.
His classes stay grounded, with a steady spiritual undercurrent beneath the physical practice. He teaches with genuine gratitude, often reminding students that his own life changed through yoga, and that he is simply passing that same possibility on to them.
He leads: 50, 100, 200, 300, and 500 Hour Yoga TTC at the Bali campus.
(Our Master, Founder, Meditation)
After practicing yoga from the very early age of 12, he decided to leave his family and friends behind to pursue the yogic path and meet his first Yoga Master - Narayan Muni at Jharsuguda Muni Samaj Yoga Ashram. It was here he took his first steps into the Himalayan Tradition. In 1988 he met his second Yoga Master - Swami Niranjan Ji to learn the wisdom of the Vedas. There he came across the Jnana Yoga (knowledge), which taught him the important lessons in the path to self-realization. After joining Sri Satya Sai Baba's ashram to learn the spiritual beauty and value of Karma Yoga (charity work), his life changed completely. There he learned that he had to undergo heart surgery. That experience made him realize the importance of charity. In the year 2001, he left home for the last time. The decision to become a monk had been made and his wonderings eventually led to the holy city of Rishikesh. Here once again he met the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, but this time to never leave it again. After studying and practicing yoga under Swami Veda's motherly heart, his greatest guru, and becoming a master in the Himalayan Tradition, he opened his first Yoga School, where we welcome students and seekers from all around the world to carry on India's most important heritage, Yoga.
