The course provides an opportunity to deepen personal practice, expand theoretical knowledge and further develop the practical skills required for teaching yoga.

Course Dates

Start Date: 1st of every month
End Date: 29th of every month
Duration: 29 Days / 28 Nights

Advanced Yoga Practice

The programme offers an in-depth exploration of multiple yoga traditions, including Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. Students work on developing a more refined personal practice while exploring advanced approaches to asana, breath awareness, meditation and yoga practice.

Pranayama, Meditation & Traditional Practices

Participants continue their study of Pranayama and Meditation while exploring traditional yogic practices such as Mudras, Bandhas, Shatkarma and Mantra Chanting. These practices allow students to deepen their understanding of the traditional aspects of yoga and incorporate them into their ongoing practice.

Yoga Theory & Advanced Knowledge

The course includes detailed study of Yoga Anatomy and Physiology, Alignment and Adjustment, Teaching Methodology, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda. Students develop a deeper understanding of the body, alignment principles and teaching approaches that can support safe and effective yoga instruction.

Teaching Skills & Professional Development

Alongside advanced personal practice, the programme focuses on practical teaching skills and methodology. Students have opportunities to apply their knowledge through teaching practice while receiving guidance on sequencing, alignment, adjustments and effective communication with students.

Self-Practice & Integration

The 29-day format provides dedicated time for continued practice, theoretical study and integration of the teachings. The extended learning period allows participants to revisit concepts, strengthen their personal practice and develop greater confidence in applying advanced yoga techniques.

Rishikesh Experiences & Workshops

The residential experience also allows students to explore the spiritual and cultural environment of Rishikesh through Ganga Beach Yoga, meditation, Ganga Aarti and guided local excursions. Special workshops such as Sound Healing and Kirtan add further dimensions to the overall learning experience.
