Details of this retreat

This workshop will explore how cleansing the body, heart and mind with Holotropic Breathwork® and natural detox practices can facilitate insight, healing and longevity.

You are invited to join us to experience the remarkable healing potential and therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork®, a powerful breathwork practice that allows for self-exploration and healing. With eyes closed and lying on a mat, you will use your own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing potential of the breather, or “inner healer”, which guides the experience.

In this retreat, you will have the time and space to slow down, rest and relax and experience what your body may be holding physically, emotionally and psychologically that may no longer serve you and your health. During the retreat, Dr. Tom will be incorporating herbs and nutrients with special teas and smoothies to facilitate detoxification and transformation.

In this retreat you will experience:

Four Holotropic Breathwork® Sessions (Two as a breather and two as a sitter)
Guided Shamanic Journey
Three Vegetarian/Vegan Meals daily with many foods and herbs from the Menla organic garden
Dr. Tom’s Detox Tea and Detox Smoothies daily to support cleansing in your liver, kidneys, and digestion
Integrative Writing Practice
Mandala Drawing
Sharing Circles
Evening Campfire and S’mores Celebration with Storytelling
Wellness discussions led by Dr. Tom where you will learn about:

The art and science of detoxification
Creating healthy food choices
Herbal tonics and longevity nutrients
The microbiome and gut health
Neuroplasticity and brain health

Optional:
Schedule an appointment at the Menla Dewa Spa to further enhance your detox:
Sauna, Cold pool plunge, massage, bodywork and healing arts services.

The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork® can include release and healing of trauma and grief, improving anxiety and depression, supporting recovery from addiction, higher insights of spiritual understanding, increased connection to self and others, and opening to compassion and love.

This workshop is open to new breathers, experienced breathers, those in the Grof Transpersonal Training community, Grof Legacy Training community, Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies or anyone interested in Holotropic Breathwork.

This workshop is approved by Grof Transpersonal Training for completion of the double breathwork requirements for the online training modules. It is also approved by Grof Legacy Training to meet the breathwork requirements for their training program.

Just Incredible all around
Went to a Yoga Retreat with Gratitude Yoga and there are just no words to describe how magical the experience was. Would give it more stars if I could. The best thing you could ever do for yourself cannot recommend this place enough.

Menla
Hi I Love going to Menla, the grounds are beautiful. The staff is nice at the front desk. I ask when 2 people check into a room 2 sets of towels should be supplied in the room. Everytime we have to go and ask for another set and we are paying for two people. Also i get nervous about the food. I am vegan. Things arent marked. The cooks bites my head off when I ask. Last time I was there she literally yelled at me there are chickpeas out there. Chick peas are not enought for a vegan dinner. I pay aloth and you guys have raised the prices. I get axiety about going to eat in your dining hall because of this/. Thank You to make some changes.
