About this Retreat
Saya is a 500hr RYT who has been practicing yoga since 2016. She received both her 200hr and 300hr certifications at Vikasa Yoga in Thailand, learning from master teachers Kosta Miachin and Daniel Rama. Saya likes to think of asana (the physical practice of yoga) as a form of moving meditation. Her classes are carefully and thoughtfully prepared so that each pose flows seamlessly with the next, while opening the body in all directions of movement. She focuses on alignment and breath to achieve the maximum benefits of yoga. Saya views yoga as a practice of coming home and finding freedom within. Her classes are designed to provide a full yogic experience that does not just end with asana.

Combining skiing with yoga, this retreat gives you the best of both worlds. What if you focus on your breath while you are gliding down a slope? How would your body feel if you do some proper stretching before and after a ski day? What about finding presence in each moment and moving with intention, from your heart?
Hosted at Sterling Forest Lodge, a beautiful and sustainable lodge tucked away in the mountains above Stowe, VT. They are a "home for remembering" - aligning with what yoga means to me.
