Fergus says, "The feel is pure country, although the village with pubs, shop, cafe, etc. is only minutes’ walk away and Glendalough is also within walking distance. We were in a shepherds hut-style unit, definitely the best of the type we've experienced in Europe: reasonably spacious, comfortable bed, fridge, decent cooking facilities and a usable shower/toilet arrangement."
