Here in Aguarazu our life long mission is to promote the Indegenous culture and the wisdom that that is inherent to these communities, the conservation and regeneration of the Amazon Forest and the Mother Earth herself.
In today’s busy modern world most of us live so far detached from the natural world that we have lost our sense of interconnectedness with the living organism that is our planet. Our modern cities and advancements in technology, have isolated us from creating and deepening relations with ourselves, the other, and the planet.
Our 4 day retreats are an opportunity to delve into these concepts in a very profound way through Plant Medicine Ceremonias, sharing circles, story telling, traditional song, dance and games. There is also time reserved for the exploration of the territory through different earth practices such as flower baths, permaculture eco-tours of the farm and visits to local rivers and waterfalls. We also offer individual healing sessions with the indigenous leaders and integration sessions with experienced members from our support team.
Our very intimate gatherings of 10 to 20 participants create the space for self discovery and the building of community with like minded souls.
Our mission is to create deep lasting bonds through the union of the planetary families and the indigenous leaders that guard the Amazon forest in the hope to plant seeds of change throughout the world. In this we hope to grow forests of new consciousness in relationship to ourself, the other and the planet. Bringing together the teachings of the ancient cultures with the tools of the modern world to potentialize the change for tomorrow
All our retreats include daily green juices, exotic fruits and delicious vegetarian organic meals composed of ingredients grown here on site or locally. We also honor the traditional recipes of the Indigenous communities and offer the opportunity for guided Dietas for those who wish to delve deeper in these ancient practices.
We offer private or shared rooms at our bed and breakfast and also have the option of camping for those who desire a full immersion experience with Nature. Extended stays are also available depending on availability.
The region of Visconde de Mauá is one of the most naturally preserved areas of Southern Brasil and a great place to take a couple of extra days to explore the waterfalls and hikes and take advantage of your integration period before heading back home.
