About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

We're excited to announce our second psilocybin retreat designed specifically for individuals struggling with prolonged grief. For individuals who have been stuck suffering from grief for an extended period of time, psilocybin can play an important part of one's journey back to living fully.
This retreat is tailored for individuals navigating prolonged grief from sources such as the loss of a loved one, divorce, the loss of a beloved pet, or other significant life changes.
This retreat is also intended for individuals who are past the 'acute' phase of grief. Grieving is a normal and healthy response to loss. Undergoing a psilocybin experience during the acute phase of grief is generally not recommended, as it may overly intensify what are already intense and natural emotions, and may not aid in the healing process. A psilocybin experience is most beneficial to individuals who have reached some point of 'stuckness' in their grieving process.

Odyssey is a Five-Star Experience!
This experience, from the moment I booked until the present moment, has significantly changed the trajectory of my life in a positive way. My hope from this experience was peace. I wanted to minimize the constant internal battle, thoughts, negative self-talk, etc. This experience took me on a journey of learning who I am and all the reasons I should love the person I have become. Additionally, each step of the process was meaningful, beneficial, and far exceeded anything I could have expected. The staff were some of the most amazing human beings I have ever met. It was evident they were truly called to this work. If you are hesitant on booking, I want to encourage you to- you will not regret it!

Retreat with Odyssey
This retreat was life changing for me. I have been in therapy for 8 years. Therapy has helped with many aspects of my life, but the Journey through Odyssey helped me identify problems I didn't know I was battling. The care to detail on this Journey was the highest quality. I haven't felt this relaxed in decades.

You will be well cared for. I'm so glad I chose to work with Odyssey
I participated in Odyssey's grief retreat, and found it truly profound—something you have to experience firsthand to fully understand.

The program was well thought out, with each step of the journey carefully planned. The facilitators were supportive, ensuring we felt cared for at every turn. The emphasis on integration, even after the experience concludes, was particularly meaningful and may be one of the most valuable aspects of the journey.

Before choosing Odyssey, I thoroughly researched numerous organizations offering psilocybin experiences. My initial meeting with Gabe immediately put me at ease; this was my first time considering something like this, and I needed to feel safe. The fact that Odyssey's program was combined with a grief retreat was the deciding factor for me, as that was exactly what I was seeking. Now, I can say that I made the right choice.

The facilitators were knowledgeable about plant medicine and grief—two areas that were equally important to me. Their experience with grief work made all the difference. They were compassionate, patient, and fully committed, giving so much of themselves to each attendee. It was clear that they truly cared about everyone in the group.

One aspect I particularly appreciated was the opportunity to visit the facility the day before we began working with the plant medicine. This planning allowed our bodies and minds to recognize the space as safe and welcoming—a detail that meant a lot to me.

The experience itself may not unfold in the way you anticipate, but it will be the experience you need. You will be well cared for and deeply supported. I'm so glad I chose to work with Odyssey
