Nateea (Tia) is your retreat host and yoga teacher.
She is a warm-hearted soul lighting up the room with her smile, following her dream to share this light with people all over the world.
Born in California, the USA with Caribbean and German roots she early learned how to appreciate her cultural uniqueness.
Influenced by her culture and 11 years of experience as a flight attendant where she was traveling the world, learning a lot about the beauty of the planet and people, you will find her yoga class full of sunshine and warmth.
She leaves space for everyone to unfold their true self, creating a class that honors all bodies, helping to embrace what makes you unique, teaching mentally and physically challenging Vinyasa flows, strengthening Hatha or restorative Yin Yoga.
Nateea is happy, ambitious, and peace-loving and fell in love with the versatility of the world.
Her mission is to spread her affection for yoga in the most beautiful places mother earth has to offer.
Currently she is teaching a renowned NBA Player from the Denver Nuggets, gives private and group classes and always strives to grow as a person.

Imagine practicing your sun salutation with sand under your mat, looking up to swaying coconut palm trees in the warm breeze and clear blue skies. By aligning with elements you work into achieving the highest level of perception and harmony with like-minded and loving people. Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, you pack up the mats and walk back into the island beach villa where local and western breakfast awaits you. Knowing you will spend your day relaxing, reading, snorkeling, and surfing you catch yourself smiling in pure bliss.
The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body, and soul. During this week you will learn more about yourself, and gain self-love and inner harmony. You will start the day with a rejuvenating, energizing practice followed by a soft meditation.
Before dinner you will take a step back to reflect on the day and enjoy a gentle and soft practice.
Nateea will help you to develop your own yoga practice in the midst of a tropical environment and the most beautiful beaches.

Dhiffushi is home to a mesmerizing underwater world and its own house reef which is more than 10 km long housing colorful corals, breathtaking varieties of fishes, and other marine flora and fauna.
Snorkeling in this paradise is absolutely amazing! You may even spot Mantarays, Stingrays, and little sharks!
This beautiful local island in the North Malé Atoll has a magical vibe and offers a lot of activities besides relaxing at the white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue waters. Diffushi is 0.95 km in length and 0,2 km wide. It was one of the first non-resort islands in the Maldives proving that you don't need to pay for an expensive all-inclusive resort to have the amazing Maldives experience.
As it is the most eastern inhabited island of the Maldives, you are able to witness the sunrise first in the country. You will find one of the best diving sites close by.
Remember that this is a local island and therefore alcohol is prohibited and we want to respect their cultures and religion.
Accommodation:
Your home for this week will be the Dhiffushi Island Villa. This beach villa, located in the northern part of the tropical island, has four air-conditioned bedrooms with their own bathrooms and can hold up to 8 people, a kitchen, and a nice simple but spacious living room space. This is what makes this little retreat so special, you will have a very intimate and small group to experience yoga and this paradise with.
This villa participates in the program for sustainable traveling, which means they take important steps to make your stay more sustainable.
