Beginners-develop a daily practice - 5 day intensive
Wonderful and informative retreat in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Teachers and tuition were top notch. They developed classes that were challenging and in tune with the abilities and limitations of course participants. Would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their yoga or wellness journey.

Krishna Village Retreat
Krishna Village lies in a beautiful country area with rolling green hills, forest and a large lake.
The single cabins with double bed and ensuite were fabulous, clean and perfectly appointed with views over the lake or the forest - serene and peaceful.
Food was good, although I advise staying guests to arrive early at the dining room to ensure they receive a meal, as the centre does allow day visitors to dine also and the food ran out on a couple of occasions. It would be difficult to guess how many people would attend for a meal though.
The masseuse I had was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and felt light and relaxed afterwards.

However, I am sorry to say that the yoga classes were very disappointing. All but one teacher did not know yoga at all, and one class in particular was like a boot camp with the exercises given to attendees. One teacher talked for at least 30 minutes at the beginning of the class about herself mainly!
In the sound healing class I felt as though I was in a night club, with extremely loud music (some of it seemed to be synthesised music with a definite boom, boom, boom and flashing lights! It certainly was not restful or calming at all and I left with a headache. As this class was in the evening I could not get to sleep for ages afterwards.

Had the most wonderful few days. The farm, the yoga, the food, chill spaces were all sensational and it didn't surprise us that most people there were return visitors. I'll be back.

Yogic disappointment
Very poor quality of yoga and instructors. I question whether many of them were qualified. Appeared to be following Youtube instruction and notes. Spent the majority of three days in shavarsana. Very disappointing. Food was ok quality but many meals were stretched for quantity. Single cottage accommodation was very good.
